I want to go to the zoo.I want to go to the Zoo. it doesn’t actually make any sense to be old anymore, I look down my stomach the way I used to from the bathtub and nothing is recognizable except my ribs. I want hot chocolate and big scarves and to look up at the world again too short to see the bars, tall enough to see the polar bears playing its their season now and no body’s drowning now because its too beautiful. I’m not making flight plans because I can’t fly and I don’t know you and math is broken. Put all the pennies out of savings into fountains, tuck the pink flamingo heads back under wings.I want to go to the zoo.

Shhh, we’re concentrating. as though that concentration alone could prove anything. If you were to look around, how many of you are chewing gum? Doing sudoku puzzles? Falling asleep… we are a bored race at this point, still laughing at reruns, and watching mouthwash commercials.
